Unload near the sink
Your hands are full of groceries ... first stop - unload fruits and veggies by the sink.
Labels leave a sticky residue, so best to remove before soaking.
Place fruit and veggies in sink
Gently lay all washable fruits and veggies; leave grapes or cherry tomatoes in containers for easy removal.
Add fruit & veggie soak concentrate
This will help remove surface pesticides, wax and chemical residues.
Fill with water then add concentrate
Place produce in solution for up to 5 minutes and swirl or mix as needed.
Air dry on rack
Allowing fruit and veggies to air dry on a rack will save you time.
You may need to towel dry grapes or cherry tomatoes. Use mesh bags to store loose produce.
Voila - it's all cleaned!
Now add to the crisper and all the cleaning is done and your fresh produce is ready to use.
